Finally got caught up with the first two seasons of Downton Abbey. I haven’t seen any of season three yet. (Shh! I can’t even go to Television Without Pity (TWOP) to get caught up on the few I’ve missed by reading their snarky reviews, as their entire site is being blocked by Google for supposedly being infested with malware right now.)
Sorry, I know I’m late to the party. I’ve been slammed with homework and real life stuff and job-hunting. As it is, I probably missed some finer details, as I was doing research and writing while the DVDs were on.
I got them for Christmas, so that gives you some idea of how busy it has been for me lately.
Anyway. Downton stuff. Let’s see.
1. I’m now thoroughly invested in Mr. Bates’ fate. Poor fellow. Poor Anna.
2. Thomas and O’Brien are horrible. I do think O’Brien got shook up when Cora was so ill and has mellowed a bit.
3. Nice that Daisy has a new adoptive dad who cares about her.
4. Anyone at all surprised by the romance that was finally launched in the Christmas special?
Sound off, Downtonians.
